A possible school bus accident with a person down in the parking lot is reported at Batavia High School. City fire and Mercy medics are responding to 260 State St.
UPDATE 9:28 a.m.: A first responder says this is NOT a school bus accident; it's strictly a medical issue. He said he believes a school bus driver was the reporting party.
A two-vehicle accident is reported at 385 W. Main St. in the city. It is blocking traffic. City fire, Mercy medics and police are responding.
The caller is a driver with a possible head injury.
It's in front of Falcone Electric.
A motorcycle accident is reported in the area of 8937 Creek Road, Batavia.
A first responder reported a victim down in the road.
Dispatchers checked on the availability of Mercy Flight but a subsequent update said there would be no need for Mercy Flight.
Town of Batavia and Mercy EMS dispatched.

Bethany fire responded to a Jeep vs. tractor-trailer accident at 2:50 p.m. on Ellicott Street Road.

A motorcycle crash is reported on the westbound I-90 in the area of mile marker 388.4.
One motorcycle is on fire but a total of three motorcycles may be involved, along with a passenger vehicle. CPR is in progress.
Town of Batavia Fire Department is responding along with Mercy medics and NYS Police.
UPDATE 1:11 p.m.: The westbound Thruway is shut down; eastbound traffic is moving slowly. The passsenger vehicle that is involved is on fire. Mercy Flight is called to the scene.
UPDATE 1:13 p.m.: Fires are knocked down.
UPDATE 1:35 p.m.: Mercy Flight is airborne and headed to Strong Memorial Hospital.
UPDATE 1:42 p.m.: Town of Batavia fire assignment is back in service.
A pickup truck vs. motorcycle accident is reported at 136 W. Main St. in front of Dunkin' Donuts. It is blocking one lane of westbound traffic. Unknown injuries. City police are on scene.
City fire was called in. "We have no ambulances available in the city," the dispatcher said.
UPDATE 4:10 p.m.: Those involved will be sign-offs.

One vehicle T-boned another at the intersection of Main Street and Center Street at about 10:30 a.m.
People in both vehicles were being treated at the scene. There was airbag deployment in one vehicle.
The accident is under investigation and no further information was available at the scene.
Eastbound traffic was blocked until the accident was cleared.

A two-vehicle accident with airbag deployment and injuries is reported at Oak Street and Richmond Avenue in the city. Mercy medics and city fire are responding. Police are on scene.

A tanker and a van are reportedly involved in a motor-vehicle accident in the area of 7536 Sandhill Road, Alabama.
The tanker normally carries water but is empty right now. It is overturned. The driver is out and walking around.
A woman driving the van, which is in a ditch, is believed to be injured.
Alabama fire and Mercy EMS dispatched.
UPDATE 3:12 p.m.: Patient extricated.

UPDATE 6:24 p.m. It appears one vehicle rear-ended another on Summit. The damage to the vehicles was minimal.

An injury accident is blocking Route 20 in the area of 1013 Broadway, Darien, between Harlow and Warner roads.
Darien fire and ambulance are on scene.
A motor-vehicle accident in Corfu is reported at 1711 Genesee Street near Boyce Road. Wires are down. A first responder on scene reports wires lying across the vehicle. The driver and sole occupant is said to be in and out of consciousness; unknown injuries.
Corfu fire command says the patient cannot be accessed until National Grid arrives and removes the wires. Mercy medics are on scene.
The vehicle is off the road, in a ditch, in the mud.
Darien was called but put back in service.
"I believe this is a phone line," says command about the downed wire.
UPDATE 4:38 p.m.: National Grid is not needed; it is confirmed that it's a phone line. Patient is out of the vehicle. At least one utility pole is damaged.
UPDATE 4:50 p.m.: The vehicle will need a winch out; it's 15 feet off the roadway in thick mud.
UPDATE 4:57 p.m.: The Corfu assignment is back in service.
A 26-year-old driver from Henrietta was cited yesterday for allegedly failing to yield the right of way to another vehicle at a stop sign following an accident reported at 4:17 p.m. at the intersection of Clinton Street Road and Maple Avenue in Bergen.
A.D. Broadhurst was driving a 2021 Toyota sedan was struck by a 2012 Ford sedan driven by 29-year-old Brandon J. Heslor, of Batavia.
Heslor was eastbound on Route 33 and Broadhurst allegedly pulled into his lane of traffic.
Both drivers were injured and transported to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester by ground ambulance -- Broadhurst with a complaint of neck pain and Heslor with a complaint of chest pain.
Airbags deployed in both vehicles.
