The driver of a tractor-trailer carrying steel beams said he was eastbound on West Main when he noticed the driver of the sedan pulling out of the Burger King parking lot. He said he could see the driver looking right, but he never looked left. The truck driver saw that the car driver was going to pull out into traffic without stopping. The truck driver was able to pull over into the inside lane. Even with the evasive maneuver, the car still caught the rear tire of the truck, spinning it into the utility pole. The truck driver thinks the accident would have been much worse if he hadn't moved over.
A pickup truck and car crashed in the parking lot of Save-A-Lot, 45 Ellicott St. City of Batavia fire and Mercy medics are responding. Injuries are reported.

A one-vehicle rollover accident with possible entrapment is reported on the westbound Thruway at mile market 391. Town of Batavia Fire Department and Mercy medics are responding. Mercy Flight is available if needed.

A two-car accident is reported at Route 33 and Wortendyke Road. A caller at the scene reports no injuries. It is blocking traffic. Town of Batavia Fire Department is responding along with Mercy medics for evaluation.

A motorcycle accident is reported on Sumner Road near the sharp turn at Simonds Road. The rider and his bike are in a ditch. Unknown injuries. Law enforcement is on scene. Darien fire and Mercy medics are responding.
UPDATE 5:44 p.m.: Mercy Flight, although available, will not be needed, according to medics on scene.
UPDATE 6:40 p.m.: The subject has been transported to ECMC. The Darien assignment is back in service.
A two-car accident with injuries is reported at 7228 Griswold Road. It's at the intersection of Griswold and West Bergen roads. LeRoy fire and medics are en route.
UPDATE 5:19 p.m.: A responder on scene reports that there is one minor injury.
UPDATE 5:46 p.m.: Medics are back in service; there was no patient transport.
UPDATE 6:02 p.m.: The Le Roy assignment is back in service.
A car crashed into a pole in the area of 7027 Route 237. Unknown injuries, but the driver is out of the vehicle. The pole and wires are down, blocking the roadway. The "car is smoking."
Byron and South Byron fire departments are responding along with Mercy medics.
The location is between Town Line and Cockram roads.
UPDATE 3:13 p.m.: Fire Police are called to shut down traffic at Route 237 and Cockram Road. National Grid will be contacted about the damaged equipment.
UPDATE 3:14 p.m.: Byron command says responders can come in non-emergency.
UPDATE 3:35 p.m.: Mutual aid for standby crews is requested: A Stafford pumper to South Byron; and a pumper from Elba to Byron.

UPDATE 10:18 a.m.: A 31-year-old male complaining of back pain is being taken to UMMC. The assignment is back in service.
A motorcycle crash with unknown injuries is reported at 7129 Hopkins Road. Mercy Flight is on ground standby in Batavia; not available to fly except to Strong Memorial Hospital due to wind. Pembroke and Indian Falls fire departments are responding. A first responder says the rider is off the bike, standing up and holding his helmet.
UPDATE 6:18 p.m.: Mercy medics are responding non-emergency mode.
A three-car accident is reported at 3 River St. Injuries are believed to be minor. City fire and Mercy medics are responding.
UPDATE 12:55 p.m.: Northbound traffic will be stopped at River and South Main Street.
