UPDATE 9:18 p.m.: A vehicle is in a ditch. There is apparently a second vehicle. A caller reports minor injuries. 

Accidents reported on Thruway in Batavia

A car has hit a guard rail on the Thruway in the area of mile marker 388.2 in the westbound lane.

Unknown injuries.

About 30 minutes ago, there was a motor-vehicle accident with apparently minor, if any, injuries in the area of 392.3 in the westbound lane.

Town of Batavia fire and Mercy EMS dispatched to both calls.

UPDATE 7:38 a.m.: No injuries on the accident at mile marker 388.2. Ambulance response is canceled. There is a fuel leak.

Accident reported on Thruway in Batavia

A motor-vehicle accident, unknown injuries, is reported in the westbound lane of the Thruway near mile marker 386.1.

Accident on Thruway blocking traffic in Pembroke

An accident with possible injuries is blocking traffic on the Thruway in the area of mile marker 401.1 in Pembroke.

Person reportedly ejected from vehicle in accident on Clinton Street Road, Stafford

A motor-vehicle accident with ejection is reported in the area of 5631 Clinton Street Road, near Mill Road, in Stafford.

Stafford fire and Mercy EMS dispatched.

UPDATE(S) (By Billie) 11:22 p.m.: This is a two-vehicle collision with injuries. Extrication is required. The county Highway Department is notified that the roadway is extremely icy. Route 33 at Prole Road will be shut down. Mutual aid is requested from South Byron fire police to shut down Route 33 at Route 237.

UPDATE 11:47 p.m.: This was a head-on collision involving two vans. No one is believed to be seriously injured, although one person was unconscious at the time first responders arrived. A total of four people were involved; three of them were taken to area hospitals, primarily for evaluation. There was an ejection, but no entrapment.The accident occurred about 25 yards northeast of the Thruway overpass on Clinton Street Road (Route 33). The roadway there is described as being like "nothing but a thin sheet of ice."

UPDATE 12:38 a.m.: Stafford assignment back in service.

Car drives into Burger King building in Le Roy

A car has driven into the Burger King on West Main Street in Le Roy.

There are no injuries, no utilities damaged. The driver is out of the car.

Le Roy fire responding. Le Roy ambulance dispatched as a precaution.

UPDATE 8:19 a.m.: Le Roy assignment back in service. Scene turned over to law enforcement.

Pedestrian hit by car at West Main and North Lyon, Batavia

A pedestrian has reportedly been struck by a car and there is a reported injury at West Main Street and North Lyon Street, in the City of Batavia.

UPDATE 9:31 a.m.: Minor, if any, injury. Patient transported to UMMC for evaluation. Adult male. No damage to vehicle. 

Minor injury accident reported on Route 33 in area of Old State Road

Four people are reportedly involved in a single-car, minor injury accident on Route 33 near Old State Road.

Byron and South Byron fire departments dispatched along with Mercy EMS.

UPDATE 11:37 p.m.: Responding units advised to use caution. Roads are very icy and hazardous. 

Vehicle flips over on Richmond Avenue, trapping occupants

A vehicle reportedly crashed and flipped over, landing in front of 209 Richmond Ave. in the city. People are trapped inside. City fire and Mercy medics are responding.

UPDATE 9:54 p.m.: Everyone's out," says a first responder at the scene.

UPDATE 10:15 p.m.: The sole occupant, a male driver, complained of chest pain after the accident and was transported to UMMC for evaluation. The vehicle was eastbound on Richmond when the driver lost control for unknown reasons and the vehicle struck a tree and flipped over. The accident is under investigation.

Alexander fire responding to three-car accident in Attica

A three-car accident is reported at Route 98 and Prospect Road, Attica.

UPDATE 5:41 p.m.: Traffic is being blocked at Route 98 and Buffalo Road. No extrication will be required.

T-Bone accident reported on Route 262 in Bergen

A T-bone accident with airbag deployment is reported on Route 262 at Jerico Road in Bergen.

Unknown injuries.

UPDATE 8:03 a.m.: An Oakfield chief is on scene indicating extrication will be needed, but minor injury.

UPDATE 9 p.m.: South Byron requested to assist with traffic control, closing traffic in both directions on Route 33.

Accident reported on Ford Road, Elba
