This Sunday May 2nd, the Royal Rangers, a boys scouting group, will be having our annual chicken Bar-B-Q. We will be having it a Clor's on West Main Street, at the intersection of Lewiston Road and West Main Street. We will begin selling the dinner at 1100am and go until they are sold out. The dinner are $8.00 and include the chicken, salt potatoes and mac salad.
The money that we raise will help pay for camp out. We have around 50 boys in our group and about 30 of them can not afford to pay for the camp out. As long as the boy has behaved themself, and show an interest in Rangers we will pay for them to go on camp out. To help with sending these boys, Rangers has had many partners in the community. I would like to take this time to thank, the VFW, Kiwanis, Batavia Police Benevolent Association, the Genesee County Deputy Sheriff's Association, the Genesee County Sheriff's employee Association, City of Batavia Firefighters Association, Pauly's Pizza, Next Level Fitness, Turnbull's Heating, The Batavia Assembly of God, the residents of Bethany, and the Tonawanda Valley Federal Credit Union.
