It may have only rained for 20 minutes where you were Jeff but it rained off & on until after dark not far from the city. Accurately forecasting what's going to happen when & where is a rarity around here.

How good of a drainage system does the field have, where the Muckdogs play?
If this were Frontier Field here in Rochester, they would have played; however, the field has a great drainage system that was installed in it when it was built downtown in 1996.

Jeff... I was close to completing an outdoor project when the rain started and I monitored the local radar loop until dark hoping to get it finished up, but the rain cells kept popping up out of nowhere all over Genesee county.
Both Rochester & Buffalo METEOROLOGISTS had predicted scattered showers until midnight. Those people are "in the business" of predicting weather and none of them could predict when, where or how much it would rain. If the Muckdogs' management have the ability to accurately predict weather superior to the Meteorologists in Buffalo, Rochester and the National Weather Service they're missing out on some serious revenue.
