Hey! After 63 years of living in western NY, I know how stressful it can be to react to "epic" storms. But, while some are probably complaining about having to use tap water in their toddies (because Tops ran out of Perrier and Desani), has anyone bothered to check on the residents of Bataviaburg? You know, the 'tent-dwelling' community mentioned several days ago. I gotta think their canned veggies are froze solid, by now.
I drink tap water all the time. Good stuff as long as it's cold & I don't look at the sediments on the bottom of the glass. Ha. Grew up on well water which was sulfur. Tang + sulfur was actually pretty good!
Hi, Mardell. Yeah, we grew up on well water, too. Always a dug well - none of that 'deep water' for us. The water from the house on River Rd. was great tasting, but nobody ever looked at it thru a microscope. No sense looking for trouble.
Hey, been wanting to ask you. D'ya ever see Jill's brother Pat? If so, tell him I said Hi, OK? We had some good times, back when.
I see him in passing out on the road now & then. He does electrical work. Fixed his grandfather's barn up into a beautiful home several years ago. Yes, there were LOTS of good times!
I admit to being overly fond of Voss, water imported from Norway. Not very eco-friendly shipping it all the way over here, but it's the best. It's also not cheap. But I do not care.
