I read the ABC News article and a little confused about the stated facts. They state that CO2 increases in the Spring when plants start growing again, and decrease in the Fall when they die. If I remember my high school biology class correctly, I thought plant absorbed CO2 from the air and emit O2 as part of photosynthesis. Would not the opposite be true??
I love the fact that all this stemmed from a childs Science Fair Project on critical thinking. I wonder though if the judges gave him the win on DHMO facts or the critical thinking dig that it was really about....
no snopes. Peter got me on that one. I had never heard the term Dihydrogen Monoxide before and googled it, found the site and posted the link. THEN I started reading it. Duh. I got about halfway down the page and the light came on. Pretty funny actually. That's cool that it came from a science fair project. Good One Pete!
400 molecules for every
400 molecules for every 1000000.
To put it in terms of dollars, that is $.0004 out of $1000
What is the number one cause of the greenhouse effect? Dihydrogen Monoxide vapor. But will we regulate that? No.
"Dihydrogen Monoxide"
"Dihydrogen Monoxide" otherwise known as water.

Anyone notice that the article cited fro this poll was supposed to be from ABC but is written and from CBS?
Personally Tom in the spring, Congress and the House Of Representatives come back into session, that could be why CO2 levels rise.
