An Oakfield fire chief has requested a deputy to a residence on Pine Street where there is a controlled burn taking place.
The chief says it's an ongoing problem.

Utter stupidity, this "law"...
The actual "problem" here is the fact that our nanny-state has determined that we are too stupid to burn brush as has been done in rural and suburban areas ever since there were rural and suburban areas in existence... It's B.S., and I will be quite happy to carry on the practice unchanged, hoping to be cited for doing so, in order to walk it up to the highest court needed to re-establish a common-sense practice...
