This non democrat is voting for the man quoted above. Our current legislator is too eager to be one of the "insiders" who benefit from the corporate welfare game the GCEDC plays. Funny how republicans disdain welfare, unless it's to benefit corporate America. I am encouraging all voters in District 5 to send a message, we don't want more government, we want less. Continued funding of this private, quasi government entity is wrong. Perhaps there was a time it was necessary, but that time has passed.
It is quite simple... a vote for Stein is a vote for the status quo, and the continued funding of the GCEDC. And a vote for Funderburk is a vote for discontinuing funding for the GCEDC.
