That's such a sad
That's such a sad situation.....
It is sad... lack of
It is sad... lack of parenting.... and if the oarents say they have tried everything then they really havent... theres alot of help out hete for parents who gave troubled kids.... glad she was found safe though... now hopefully she can get the help she needs
Parenting?....what's that in
Parenting?....what's that in 2013?...the kids are in charge...if you try to discipline them..You are going to jail....the law has taken the authority out of the parents hands....if it was nipped in the butt when she was young.... or any kids today ,for that matter...it prolly wouldn't have escalated to where it is now....our system is a train wreck..
It's been said before by
It's been said before by others and I concur ... people pass judgement on this situation without knowing the whole story.
I regret that this gets reported at all, but I do want the girl to be found safe, so we cooperate with police.
I think it's best -- not just in this situation, but always -- not to pass judgement when you don't know all the facts.
The phrase is actually "
The phrase is actually " nipped in the bud"....I stand corrected....and yes Howard....I agree with what you are saying...she has had a pretty hard life and been through some very hard times....I was focusing more with kids in general today....things sure have changed since I was a kid....

I personally know this young
I personally know this young lady and unfortunately, she spent some time in foster care. She grew up on the streets of Buffalo, and by streets I mean she was homeless. Her upbringing has been rough. She's rather troubled and her adopted parents are clearly struggling to help her. Hopefully she gets the help she needs.
you don't know the half of
you don't know the half of it.
Thankful she was found alive
Thankful she was found alive and relatively well.
these kind of stories do
these kind of stories do break my heart...I do not know this young lady but I do pray for her and hope that maybe she finds a mentor who can steer her towards something that she finds interesting ,maybe a sport or a musical instrument where she can focus on something good , put her life together and become the adult we all want her to be....my best to the adoptive parents .
