A woman was sexually assaulted in her home in Le Roy overnight and Le Roy PD is looking for the suspect, described as a black male, thin build and 20 to 30 years old.
The perpetrator forced his way into the woman's home on Gilbert Street in the Village, according to Chief Chris Hayward, at approximately 1:30 a.m., and assaulted the woman at knife point.
She suffered a minor cut on the chin from the knife.
A multi-agency search of the area following the report failed to locate the suspect.
Assisting Le Roy PD were the Sheriff's Office, Monroe County Sheriff's K-9 unit and the State Police.
Find this guy take away his
Find this guy take away his tools, if you know what I mean. Murderers don't get to keep the knife or gun they used so why should a rapist get to keep what they used?
I have several golf clubs
I have several golf clubs conveniently located throughout my house for just such an occasion. I wish you had picked our house, cause I would have driven a 5 iron deep into your skull, and laughed when I saw the brain matter come out. When this animal is caught, I sure hope his crime is made public to the rest of the prison population, so he gets his.
Sickening.
Sickening.
After a fair and impartial
After a fair and impartial trial, Doug’s suggestion should be an option for the sentencing judge and sadly it is not.
Nevertheless it’s still best to ensure the Constitutional Rights of the accuser and the alleged perpetrator.
According to a recent study by the American Prosecutors Research Institute, false rape allegations account for two to eight percent of all reported rapes.
A recent example of false rape is the Duke Lacrosse Rape Case of 2006.
In a fair and just society, tool confiscation should be an option after a trial followed by the jury’s determination of guilt.
In a fair and justice society, the convicted accuser of false rape should be treated as harshly and then added to a National Rape Registry in a sub-category of its own.
Richard, sadly enough, false
Richard, sadly enough, false rape allegations are common and difficult to defend against. In this instance, though, there was forced entry into the home which resulted in a sexual assault.
Not to mention Richard, that
Not to mention Richard, that she had a cut from the knife on her chin which implies that some threat of force with the alleged knife. I so wish someone would just try to do something similar here. I have 2 shotguns and my stepson keeps his mossberg here... I like Doug's suggestion so much I plan on practicing lowering my aim a bit :) The only hesitation I have is the old rule of if you have to use deadly force in your home against an intruder, cops have told me that it's generally a mess if the perp is wounded as he can sue. Things to keep in mind when it comes to taking that shot if in those circumstances. I dont think I'll worry much though. Dont have much to take...
Many years ago, when G.Gordon
Many years ago, when G.Gordon Liddy was on the radio and his show was good - before he went all politics all the time. I heard him speaking with a woman caller who was asking about what she should know regarding self-defense since she had started carrying a handgun. He told her, if you are being attacked, aim for the center of the body and pull the trigger until it's empty. Then put the gun down and tell the police when they get there that you were so scared you blacked out a little and don't remember how many times you pulled the trigger. Sounds like good advice to me
Doug, I agree; false
Doug,
I agree; false allegations are difficult to defend against. Let’s hope he is apprehended and justice is served.
