Residents can pick from any trash hauler. No contracts, no charge for totes or trash cans (but everyone uses totes because they are easier for residents and haulers) I pay $11 a month. Once in a while i get cards in the mail offering free service for 3 months, or a better price if I switch. I don't understand why anyone wouldn't want to select their own trash hauler. You pay way too much in sales/property/school taxes and too much for tv/internet/phone services compared to most of the USA Now's the chance to finally pay less for something.
