The city fire department is responding to Lewis Place to hose off "a large amount of blood in the street" at the request of emergency responders. Regrettably, we don't know how the blood got in the street in the first place.
UPDATE 11:55 a.m. (by Howard): Called dispatch. There was a fight on Lewis Place last night. Somebody got a bloody nose.

Could be anything from a voodoo ritual to murder, maybe you should find out!

I really thought Jason was using sarcasm with his comments, which MANY people do here. I don't think he meant it to be taken seriously..... I could be wrong, but that's just the way I took it when I first read it, I kind of giggled.

Hard to believe we have to bring in the firemen to wash blood from a nose off the street..talk about a waste of city resources.

Jason is just like a child - doing or saying anything to gain attention. Ignore him and he'll go away.

LOL Debra I used to think that too til I have seen him argue the supposed sarcasm like it was a serious viewpoint.
Hey Mark, ya know maybe it was a "Jimmy Durante" or Cyrano De bergerac type nose. I canr imagine needing the fire dept to wash a nosebleed off the street, unless it was a fatal nosebleed.
I dont remember Sil or Tony Soprano ever needing the FD to wash blood off, maybe theres some good society can learn from La Familia
Mark, how is that a waste of
Mark, how is that a waste of city resources? Did it impede the fire departments ability to respond to an emergency call? Nope. Did it cost the city any extra? Maybe for tiny amount of fuel they used to drive there (maybe half a mile?). The fireman were already on duty. I don't see how you could argue it a waste of resources. It was probably the cheapest, fastest, and most efficient way to get it cleaned up.
