It's not about how much money they make, Peter. It's about how much gaming they do with the tax laws which, if successful, a candidate will be able to vote on and/or introduce legislation regarding. There is not nearly enough transparency with politics and there is way too much of a double standard. They need to obey the same laws the rest of us do, and prove it.

The amount of money someone makes and the amount they were taxed should have no bearing on their viability to be a good Congressman
All Hochul's would say anyways is that almost all her money comes from government.
