A dog is locked in a red Chevy Malibu in the 10th row of the parking lot at Walmart. A Sheriff's deputy is responding.
UPDATE 7:13 p.m.: The deputy reports that all four windows are down and the dog has water to drink. Despite these precautions against overheating, someone called dispatch with concerns.

OK. That's enough about dogs
OK. That's enough about dogs in cars. Anything else going on? Isn't there anyone driving through store fronts lately?
Hey Scott it would be nice if
Hey Scott it would be nice if that was enough about dogs but in case your unaware of the problem in a 36 hour period starting thursday their were 8 calls about dogs locked in cars sorry the awareness campaign bothers you but I'm sure the Batavian will also add any run away cars to their headlines. And only one of these calls had windows open so apparently until these MORONS get the message it is not enough about dogs locked in cars please don't try and sound so ignorant.
windows down or not...water
windows down or not...water or not its still too freakin hot to leave a dog in a car ...no excuses
Mary, not according to the
