I don't personally know any of these people but from what I have heard and seeing the people involved...
Tim Walton- I don't think he would do this unless the numbers showed that it would work.
Mike Marchese- Family owns nightclubs (according to the Daily News) so they must know what they are doing.
Ken Mistler- I don't think he would allow a business in his building that he didn't think would succeed.
My son text me during the day yesterday and told me all him and his friends were talking about this at school. I think this poll should be put onto Facebook and see what the kids think because from what i have heard its the talk of the high schools. There is nothing for kids to do and they constantly complain about that. You put something in, i dont see why they wouldnt go.
Anything that provides teenagers a place to go and have fun while being supervised is a much better alternative to letting them roam the streets late at night. Sure there will be some trouble makers but they will easily be caught and I am sure that the other kids will fall in line. I am really surprised on how many no votes. Most teenagers in Batavia that I know have a better phone and more pocket money to spend than I have as an adult so I don't think there will be a problem for a success as far as making money. I do hope they offer other things such as video games and pool.
Teen clubs are not doomed to fail, but they face unique problems. Primarily, teenagers often do not exercise the best judgment. Secondarily, parents engage in a contentious surrender of custody to anyone posing as surrogate. Not to mention- potential clientele embody an age spectrum from 13 to 21.
The next biggest hurdle is avoiding insider/outsider divides- tough in Batavia where race and city Vs rural are built-in fractures. ...The usual disagreements over music selection, school athletic rivalries and romantic competition. ...Testosterone, ethyl alcohol and posturing in the parking lot. ...Adults stalking for underage liaisons.
In terms of law enforcement, one has to consider that the location is not open, well-lit parking lots like downtown. ...It's borderline industrial, railroad tracks and wilderness. ...Not where I'd want to search for an unaccounted-for kid. Likely, teen congregation will shift from City Centre and Pizza Hut to the east-end plaza. This location will also incur motor vehicle related issues. For most residents, it's beyond walking distance.
I hope these issues can be surmounted. I wish the venture well.
Finally, someone who understands me. Is there no humor in WNY? Even though I was serious that cupcakes rule, the kids will catch on fast. Google "Hey Cupcake". They get $2.75 although with a tip it costs $4 minimum. Kids don't tip so just charge four bucks.

I think this will be a good venue for local bands and other artist.

It would depend on whether
It would depend on whether there are enough things to draw kids in. Like music, games, prizes, cupcakes and a mechanical bull.
