I don't believe that congress should be able to do anything to him. They didn't do a thing when President Bill Clinton lied to the entire country about his sexual relationship on TV. You can't have double standards, what applies to one applies to all.
The fact that this is even an issue is just pathetic. The US Congress is spending our tax dollars to go after a guy who may, or may not, have juiced and may, or may not have lied about it.
OK...is lying bad? Yes. Are there other guys who sat there and did the same? Yes. Why is Congress just going after Clemens? This is ridiculous.
In a time when there are so many more important things for our government to be concentrating on, why are they wasting our tax dollars investigating overpaid athletes?
I can't believe his lawyer didn't have any protections in place before he gave voluntary testimony. I sure hope he has a different lawyer now and sends the legal bills to his old one. If he ends up serving any time the lawyer who let give voluntary testimony with out a deal should serve the same time in the next cell.
Athletes aren't overpaid Jeff. They are paid what ever the ownership thinks they are worth. If you could do what they could you wouldn't think you were overpaid. Don't be jealous, be envious and work for what they have.

I'm never going to understand why steroid use in baseball became an issue for congress to investigate in the first place.
