Matthew D. Gregorius, 47, of Hessler Court, Dansville, is charged with disorderly conduct. Gregorious is accused of fighting with medical personnel at Darien Lake. He was jailed on $250 bail.
Eric T. Grundstrom, 23, of Thayer Street, Jamestown, is charged with trespass. He is accused of running past security in a restricted area after being ejected from the concert venue. He was jailed on $250 bail.
Douglas Brinkman (AKA John Doe), of Eden, is charged with trespass. Brinkman is accused of running past security in a restricted area. Brinkman reportedly refused to give his name or any information about himself. He was jailed on $200 bail. Paul A. Gibson, 25, of Linwood Avenue, Port Colborne, Ontario, Canada, is charged with trespass for allegedly failing to leave the venue after being told several times to leave. He was jailed on $200 bail.
Drew T. Oyler, 20, of Bucktooth Run, Little Valley, is charged with trespass for allegedly returning to campgrounds after being ejected. He was jailed on $200 bail.
Donna M. Lawyer, 50, of Warren Street, Tully, is charged with petit larceny and trespass. Lawyer is accused of shoplifting candy from the gift shop and then returning to the park after being ejected.
Jesse D. Sills, 26 of Windridge Lane, Hamburg, is charged with disorderly conduct and harassment, 2nd. Sills is accused of engaging in violent and threatening behavior outside the concert venue and then threatening another person. He was jailed on $200 bail.
Curtis J. Mooney, 21, of Hermitage Road, Rochester, is charged with trespass. He is accused of returning to the concert venue after being ejected.
Kaitlin C. Kolb, 24, of Main Street, York, is charged with petit larceny. She is accused of stealing two cups of beer from a food stand inside the concert venue.
Jacob J. Turley, 21, of Eggert Road, Amherst, is charged with trespass for allegedly returning to the concert venue after being told to leave.
Christopher D. Wolf, 21, of Thornwoods Drive, Niagara Falls, is charged with petit larceny and resisting arrest. He is accused of stealing a cup of beer from a concession stand inside the concert venue and the refusing to be taken into custody and struggling with deputies.
Justin K. Washburn, 18, of Fulton Street, Hornell, is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and possession of alcohol under 21.

Police arrest concert-goers EVERYWHERE for breaking the law.

They get away with it being the number of nonlocal people getting busted. If they started targeting local drinking events (beer tents) people would be very upset.
It's not a matter of right or wrong breaking the law is wrong thats a given. It's what group of law breakers they target.
With the number of underage drinkers they have nailed this year. I have yet to see one bust for severing someone underage. As long as everyone cashes in everyone is happy.

Now, I'm sure that your not suggesting that there are local bars knowingly serving to underage drinkers, but let's say that they did. If a bar owner is caught doing that, not only are they fined a surreal amount of money, but the can have their liquor licenses pulled. Then they have no business at all. I know a lot of bar owners and they will all tell you the smae thing: It's not worth it.
For the record, there was a bar a few years back where Jackson Street Grill is now that thought it was worth it to serve to underage drinkers. They were shut down. Maybe we don't here about that locally because business owners want to stay in business.

Darien Lake invests, as far
Darien Lake invests, as far as I can tell, a good deal in its own security. The venue works, from all appearances, very closely with the Genesee County Sheriff's Office on law enforcement at concerts.
My guess: It's a business decision. Live Nation has made the business determination that investing in security and enforcing laws leads to a safer atmosphere, one in which MORE people will want to attend concerts.
The people who think a rock concert is just an excuse to get rowdy and wasted are in the minority.
We've all been to enough concerts to know that the vast majority of people are there to see their favorite performers, listen to some good music, and make it home safely.

It's one thing to drink a little or maybe a little drugs, but it's another to get drunk and cause problems.
It's a case, as always, of the minority who can't handle drugs or drink in a mature fashion that "ruin" it for everybody else.
Even on the under-age drinking, deputies have told me that target only the most obvious cases, because they're goal is to prevent problems, not just write tickets for the sake of writing tickets.

Jason, the reason you are unfamiliar with the "local scene;" there is little to speak of. There was one thirty-forty years ago. Occasionally, someone will mention The Falcon Crest, Penthouse, Angel's, Devil's Rock, Cell Block A, Primitive Scene, Magoo's or The Hideaway. The remaining live music venues are The Stumblin' Inn in Elba, the Eagle in LeRoy, the Center Street Smoke House and the Willow Bend in West Batavia- occasionally Ri-Dans. The Ramble is a one-day hit or miss event. When local talent isn't competing for pay-to-plays in Buffalo and Rochester or private parties, the last resort is recording demos in a basement studio.
If there was a music scene, it would have plenty of local talent to draw on. It's not for lack of talent that Genesee County's music scene imploded. I recall in the 80s, the cable access channel had a show that gave local artists a boost in the public eye. Would TB showcase band demo videos?
