My children and I went to the "Haunted Barn" on Hwy 98 between Batavia and Alexander last night and had a blast! The barn has been fully converted into a haunted house with several themed rooms and many actors to enhance the experience. I believe it will be open next Friday and Saturday nights, and I highly recommend it! If I say any more it will spoil the fun, so go and get scared!

Lots of gore and very frightening themes, so probably not too scary for an 8 year old. Not like when we were kids and lived such sheltered lives that witches and vampires were scary...

LOL yeah you're probably right. I remember watching this movie called The Scarecrow when I was a kid about 8 or 9. It was a Disney movie and it scared the crap out of me. Then again the Wizard of Oz scared me too, but it wasnt the witch ... it was those flying monkeys!
