I don't know where you are located, Joe, but a fantastic storm rolled through my neck of the woods (Indian Falls). The lightning was phenomenal and the thunder was deafening! I'm glad I was indoors for it all! :)

I'm in Oakfield Liz, and it always seems like the "good" storms pass just North or South of us. I can hear them. Just can't see the "show". :-)

In Darien (right next to the attica townline)we got hit. I was actually outside and a lightning bolt struck right next to my house. I ran indoors, peaked through all my windows to make sure that first... my pool was ok.. then to make sure trees didnt fall on it.. then to make sure a tree wasnt on fire or something. It was real creepy here. It got so dark out that it was like night time. I think somehow that lightning bolt messed up my dishwasher as it was one thing i couldnt get to to unplug as the washer is installed into the cupboards so its not like i could move it to unplug it... I now have this weird light on it that wont go away.. it is usually only on when the machine is running.. but it isnt.. so that a "fun" project to add to my day is trying to figure that out.. I know amherst got hit pretty bad according to the news, they showed alot of tree damage.
