I recently came across this article and thought I would share. It's a column from the Cleveland Plain Dealer, writen by Bill Nichols in 1980. It records his experiences as a Batavia Trojans coach during the 1981 season. At the time the Trojans were the Cleveland Indians affiliate. I think it is interesting to get an outsiders perspective on Batavia and N.Y. Penn league baseball at the time. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
