Resurfacing in Batavia set to begin Monday on Grandview Terrace

All motorists please be aware the following streets listed in the predicted order (subject to change) will experience traffic delays from Monday through Wednesday between the hours of 6 a.m. – 4 p.m. for resurfacing operations:

Monday, June 2nd
Grandview Terrace

Tuesday, June 3rd
Elm Street
Ellsworth Avenue

Wednesday, June 4th
Ellsworth Avenue

While work is being performed in these areas, local traffic will be permitted to and from their residence/property but should plan accordingly for delays.

All residents/businesses within the work area are asked not to park on the roadway during the operation. All motorists that regularly use these streets are asked to seek alternate routes while the delays are in place.

These same streets are scheduled for paving operations on Monday, June 16th, Tuesday, June 17th, and Wednesday, June 18th if weather cooperates. This is weather dependent work and will continue on the next business day if necessary.

Resurfacing scheduled for Stegman Road and Barrett Drive on Tuesday; expect delays and temporary closures

To all traffic utilizing the following roadways:

  • Stegman Road – Miller Road to Powers Road
  • Barrett Drive – Route 5 to END (Kistner Concrete)

Due to delays on other projects, Stegman Road and Barrett Drive are now scheduled for resurfacing on Tuesday, May 13, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Traffic should expect delays and short-term closures while resurfacing operations occur. EMERGENCY SERVICE PERMITTED THROUGH. All through traffic should seek alternative routes.

Residents and Businesses on the listed roads will be permitted access to their property, but may experience minor delays.

This work is weather dependent; if delayed for rain, the work will occur the next available day.

  • Stegman Road – Miller Road to Powers Road
  • Barrett Road – Route 5 to END (Kistner Concrete)
  • Access Road to Town Hall and Genesee County Bldg. 2 – From the turn off to the Animal Shelter to END (at Town Hall) and access to the Highway garage

Resurfacing operations will occur on the listed roads on Monday, May 12, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Traffic should expect delays and short-term closures while resurfacing operations occur. 

EMERGENCY SERVICE PERMITTED THROUGH.

All through traffic should seek alternative routes.

Wednesday, October 2

  • Williams Street
  • Osterhout Avenue
  • Evans Street
  • Jefferson Avenue

Thursday, October 3

  • Porter Avenue
  • Dellinger Avenue
  • Thomas Avenue
  • Douglas Avenue

While work is being performed in these areas, local traffic will be permitted to and from their residence/property but should plan accordingly for delays.
