Three local SUNY Potsdam students named to president's list

The State University of New York at Potsdam recently named 727 students to the President's List, in recognition of their academic excellence in the Spring 2024 semester. The SUNY Potsdam students were honored for earning top marks by President Dr. Suzanne Smith.

To achieve the honor of being on the President's List, each student must have satisfactorily completed 12 numerically-graded semester hours, with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

The students included:

  • Wyatt Calcote of Le Roy, whose major is Music Performance
  • Lydia Geiger of Batavia, whose major is Music Education
  • Nate Yauchzee of Le Roy, whose major is Music Business

Local students on SUNY Oswego honor rolls

SUNY Oswego recently recognized several Genesee County residents as high academic achievers on its President’s List and Deans’ List for the fall 2023 semester.

President's List students are those attaining semester grade-point averages of 3.8 or higher while carrying required academic credits. Students on the President’s List include:

  • Cassidy C. Ball, Bergen, undeclared

Deans' List students are those attaining semester grade-point averages between 3.3 and 3.79 while carrying required academic credits. Students on the Dean's List include:

  • Cooper J. Fix, Batavia, wellness management
  • Ty C. Kornow, Basom, psychology
  • Mackenzie E. Lavrey, Batavia, cinema and screen studies

Nate Yauchzee of Le Roy named to SUNY Potsdam president's list

Nate Yauchzee of Le Roy was recently named to the President's List at The State University of New York at Potsdam.

Yauchzee, majoring in Music Business, was among 809 students honored for academic excellence in the Fall 2023 semester. SUNY Potsdam President Dr. Suzanne Smith recognized the students for earning top marks.

To be on the President's List, each student must have satisfactorily completed 12 numerically graded semester hours, with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

SUNY Cortland announces Fall 2023 president's list

A total of 814 SUNY Cortland students earned President's List honors for the Fall 2023 semester. To qualify for the President's List, students must earn a grade of A- or better in each of their classes while carrying a course load of 12 hours or more.

Among those honored were:

  • Kaylie Kratz of Batavia (Incl Early Child Edu(B-2) WAIT)
  • Allie Schwerthoffer of Batavia (Healthcare Management)

SUNY Cortland announces spring 2023 president's list

A total of 696 SUNY Cortland students earned President's List honors for the Spring 2023 semester. To qualify for the President's List, students must earn a grade of A- or better in each of their classes while carrying a course load of 12 hours or more.

To achieve the honor of being on the President's List, each student must have satisfactorily completed 12 numerically-graded semester hours, with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
