Sorry we'be been away for so long.

Technical difficulties kept us away!

But we're back.

In case you have forgotten, The Cafe LeRoy is THE PLACE in LeRoy that offers a special brand of entertainment, relaxation and light, healthy, affordable breakfast and lunches.  Our coffee is freshly brewed every 30 minutes, never dispensed from a counter-top pump where it sits for hours to get nasty and cool.  Our front room, the coffee shoppe / ice cream parlor offers a full view of Main Street where you can check out what little goes on in downtown LeRoy.....it's fun and interesting to watch.  You might even recognize someone!

The perfect gathering place to talk about the good old days, of which there were many here in LeRoy.  It's the place with pictures on the east brick wall of who's who, then and now, from LeRoy's side street history.....the sports figures, the archtecture, the gathering places and photos of those folks who comprised LeRoy's fun loving gentry!  It's the place where, if you're new in town.....say moving in over the last 20 years, you can learn about the great sports teams, the winners and folks who excelled to great acheivements in the sports arenas from LeRoy High School's gridiron and hardwood, the diamonds, and wrestling mats even the old cinder track back in the day. Little league was big league in those days.

On the other hand, there's a perfect, softly lit room, we call THE CAFE, down the long hall where you can sip your beverage: coffee, tea, hot cocoa, mochas, latte or a cold soda with a friend or group of friends in a quiet, pleasant environment with out cell phones sounding off, TV distractions or the hustle-bustle noise of the busy route 5 traffic.  

In a nut shell, The Cafe LeRoy offers more than just a place to warm up on Main Street...it's your escape, it's your "walk down memory lane," it's the place lost for so many years on Main Street; ever since Ellis' and Tountas', Heddon's and the Cut Rate disappeared.....the Dinette and the Sterling Diner, the Dining Car joint behind the Wiss closed their doors......all gone, but we brought them all back under one roof with a new name, The Cafe LeRoy, but with the same old small town friendly wlecome that awaits your patronage.

Besides all this, we offer great live entertainment with refreshments a few times a month!  Great shows featuring such great entertainers as Don Bouchard and Rich Conroy local guys playing their Guitars....not to be believed professionals who bring smiles and enjoyment to the faces of those who come to the shows......many groups, featuring all sorts of music and instramentations perform right here on the Cafe Stage.  Poetry readings by local poets, art exibits by local and international artists shown along the "West Brick Wall Gallery."  Each show opens with a reception...desserts and beverages.......Victorian Tea Parties are really popular!  We've added a couple nights where we show 30's, 40's, 50's and 60's Classic Movies...many in Black and White.....lots of popcorn and a beverage during the film......relive the times you sat in the LeRoy Theater and watched a thriller, mystery, comedy or horror flick!  Can't beat those great times of your lives, can you?  Rememer the stale popcorn and the high priced candy bars....imagine a dime for a candy bar when the show cost 20 cents!

Soon, The Cafe Patio will re-open serving your morning coffee and pastry off the Main Drag's dust and noise.  Sure, we have no drive thru service, but we'e here to serve those not in such a hurry to gulp down their beverage or woof down their burger or biscuit on the fly.  And, remember, you get what you pay for! We will resume cooking on a REAL charcoal grill.  Zwiegle's Hots and Italian Sausage cooked to order plus we'll offer the Cafe Plate or Mac and Wings or the Smothered Burger........great summer, comfort food you'll love and many will remember from Jerry's Diner in the old days!
