Residents with questions about computers and other electronic devices can come to the Corfu Free Library for answers and assistance at this month’s Technology Tuesday help session from 7 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 27. This month the theme for Technology Tuesday is “Fun with Scanning,” and there will be hands on scanning with one of the latest scanners available.

Did you know that mid-September is the time Monarch Butterflies migrate through our region? Join us for Monarch Watching and learn about the fascinating lives of Monarch Butterflies on Saturday, Sept. 17th from 1:30 to 2:45 p.m. at Genesee Park & Forest. Explore their world and find out what people are doing to help them out! Recommended for ages 5 and up. Cost is $5/person, $10/family. Space is limited, pre-registration is required!

Join the Genesee County Master Gardeners on Thursday, April 7, from 6 to 8 pm for a program on “Better Garden Photography”.  Have you ever visited and photographed a gorgeous garden, but were later disappointed with your photos? In this presentation, Master Gardener Brenda Fox will cover many subjects including the impact of light, and elements of composition such as balance, contrast, perspective, and color. Brenda will also discuss some useful techniques such as the rule of thirds, framing, and the effect of lines.
