Benjamin J. Bullard, 28, of Maple Street, Batavia, is charged with grand larceny, 4th. Bullard is accused of stealing $6,000 from an acquaintance's bedroom while she was on vacation. The incident happened at a residence on Swan Street. He was jailed without bail.

James C. Emerson, 53, of State Street, Batavia, is charged with allowing his dogs to habitually bark following an investigation into an alleged complaint where a dog was repeatedly left outside unattended for several hours and barked continuously. On Aug. 3 Emerson's dog was allegedly barking habitually from 7:30 to 9:45 p.m.

Robert L. Williams Jr., 24, of West Main Street, Batavia, was arrested on a bench warrant following a traffic stop by Deputy Joseph Corona. Williams was later turned over to the Batavia Police Department. He was put in the Genesee County Jail on $500 bail.

Cory J. Trybushyn, 27, of West Avenue, Batavia, is charged with petit larceny. Trybushyn allegedly stole merchandise from a business in the City of Batavia.

The following people were arrested by the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office during the Kid Rock Concert at Darien Lake Performing Arts Center on Tuesday:

John C. Difante, 21, of Garden Drive, Batavia, is charged with strangulation in the 2nd degree after he allegedly choked another subject unconscious. Difante was arraigned in Darien Court and put in jail in lieu of $1,000 bail.

Tayler J. Appell, 19, of Pullman Street, Brockton, is charged with false personation and unlawful possession of marijuana after allegedly providing false personal information and being found in possession of a quantity of marijuana. Appell was arraigned in Darien Court and put in jail in lieu of $500 bail.

Jessica J. Hawkins, 30, of Park Street, Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, is charged with second-degree harassment after allegedly punching and pulling another patron's hair. Hawkins was arraigned in Darien Court and put in jail in lieu of $500 bail.

Christopher G. Cooke, 18, of Bush Road, Leicester, is charged with criminal trespass, 3rd, after allegedly reentering the concert venue after being ejected.

Brian P. Moody, 33, of Greenview Terrace, Niagara Falls, is charged with harassment, 2nd, after allegedly punching another person in the face.

Matthew C. Amesbury, 34, of Parkway Drive, North Chili, is charged with harassment, 2nd, after allegedly pushing and grabbing a deputy by the throat.

Gina L. Avino, 40, of Haven Lane, Batavia, is charged with two counts of public lewdness, harassment, 2nd, and resisting arrest following an investigation of a person exposing themselves near Wendy's on July 19. Witnesses reported that Avino allegedly was exposing her breasts and making sexual explicit gestures toward them. Batavia Police located Avino at her residence. When officers went to place her under arrest, she is accused of physically fighting with them. While in custody, she allegedly exposed herself again and spit on an officer. She was put in the Genesee County Jail on $3,000 bail.

Leslie R. Parris, 32, of Lewis Place, Batavia, is charged with harassment, 2nd, criminal contempt, 1st, and criminal contempt, 2nd, following an alleged domestic incident with another individual. Parris was put in the Genesee County Jail on $1,000 bail.

George J. Budzinack Jr., 35, of Harvester Avenue, Batavia, is charged with criminal mischief, 4th, and criminal contempt, 2nd. Budzinack is accused of breaking property belonging to another person. There was also an order of protection issued by Batavia City Court protecting the other person from Budzinack. He was put in the Genesee County Jail on $1,000 bail.

Jason E. Carpenter, 36, of Sunrise Parkway, Oakfield, is charged with criminal mischief, 4th, and criminal trespass, 2nd, after an arrest warrant was issued for an incident on Washington Avenue in Batavia. Carpenter allegedly entered a residence without permission and broke a car window. He was put in the Genesee County Jail on $1,000 bail.

Faith L. Finnin, 21, of Brockport, is charged with petit larceny. Finnin allegedly stole approximately $900 worth of cash and miscellaneous items while employed at Kmart in Batavia.

Steen L. Bordonaro, 49, of Woodcrest Drive, Batavia, is charged with criminal mischief, 4th, following an alleged road rage incident. Bordonaro is accused of using his motorcycle helmet to dent a vehicle door.

Daniel L. Pelton, 58, of Stafford, is charged with aggravated DWI and consumption of alcoholic beverages after he arrived at State Police Barracks to follow up on a previous complaint. Troopers stated they immediately detected a strong odor of alcohol and Pelton was given a standardized field sobriety test which he subsequently failed.

Suzanne Corona, infamous because of her 2010 arrest on an adultery charge, and who's been in and out of trouble with the law ever since, admitted this morning to her first felony conviction.

In Genesee County Court, as part of a plea deal, Corona entered a guilty plea to a single count of attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance, 5th, a Class E felony.

As a result, she faces up to one-and-a-half years in jail, but as a first-time felony offender, and no limitation on her sentence as part of the deal, Judge Robert C. Noonan will have latitude to give her a shorter jail term or even probation.

She is scheduled to be sentenced at 1:30 p.m., Sept. 29.

Corona admitted to selling an amount of suboxone to an agent of the Local Drug Task Force in May 2014.

As part of the plea deal, she agreed to restitution to the county of $60.

The story of Suzanne Corona made international tabloids in June 2010 after a Batavia police officer responded to a complaint in Farrall Park of a couple engaged in sexual activity. The officer, knowing Corona and knowing the man she was with wasn't her husband, charged her with adultery, a seldom used criminal charge in the State of New York. In the following months and years, Corona was arrested on a series of petty theft charges, and then didn't make the news for a long time prior to this arrest.

She was initially charged with fourth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Jenea M. Macleod, 31, of Genesee Street, Corfu, is charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, 7th, possession of a hypodermic instrument, criminal use of drug paraphernalia, 2nd, aggravated unlicensed operation, 2nd, and operation of a motor vehicle by an unlicensed driver. Richard T. Garlock, 33, of Newstead, is also charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, 7th, possession of a hypodermic instrument and criminal use of drug paraphernalia, 2nd. The subjects were pulled over by Deputy Joseph Corona for a traffic stop on Clinton Street Road in Bergen when they were allegedly found to be in possession of heroin, crack cocaine, hypodermic needles and items associated with the use of the controlled substances. Macleod was released under the supervision of Genesee Justice. Garlock was put in the Genesee County Jail on $1,000 bail. 

Herbert C. Smith, 52, of Rochester, is charged with burglary, 3rd, and petit larceny. Smith is accused of stealing merchandise from Walmart in Batavia and was allegedly banned from the store due to a previous incident. He was put in the Genesee County Jail without bail.

Tacalla N. White, 42, from Rochester, is charged with petit larceny and criminal trespass, 3rd. Linda M. Floyd, 48, and Tamara Rouse, 22, both from Rochester, are also charged with petit larceny. The subjects are accused of stealing merchandise from Walmart in Batavia. White was allegedly previously banned from Walmart.

Virginia E. Glazier, 29, of Caswell Road, Byron, and Teryl A. Havel, 55, from Tennessee, are charged with petit larceny after they allegedly stole corn from a roadside crop stand on Batavia Elba Townline Road. Glazier and Havel are accused of taking corn without paying from an unattended farmer's produce stand, which uses the honor system for depositing payments. 

Christina R. Keels, 29, of Judge Road, Alabama, is charged with criminal mischief, 3rd, following an investigation into a domestic incident that happened on Judge Road. Keels allegedly hit a motor vehicle several times with a metal garden rake causing damage to the windshield and hood.

James P. Belliveau, 53, of Lockport, is charged with aggravated DWI with a BAC of .18 percent or greater, DWI, and failure to keep right following a traffic stop by Deputy Chad Cummings on Alleghany Road in Alabama.

Michael R. McNamara, 34, of Cheektowaga, is charged with DWI and failure to keep right. State police pulled over McNarmara for a traffic stop on Sumner Road in Darien.

Demetrius A. Gibson, 38, of Rochester, is charged with driving while ability impaired by alcohol, aggravated unlicensed operation, 2nd, unlicensed operation and tinted windows. State police pulled over Gibson for a traffic stop on Main Street in Batavia.

Robert L. Williams Jr., 24, of State Street, Batavia, was arrested on a bench warrant issued by the City of Batavia Police Department. Williams allegedly failed to appear for a scheduled court date. 

Anthony M. Rodriguez, 22, of Rochester, is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Rodriguez was allegedly found to be in possession of a quantity of marijuana in a parking lot during the Incubus concert at Darien Lake.

Kevin M. Waleski Jr., 27, of South Pearl Street, Oakfield, is charged with DWI, aggravated DWI with a BAC of .18 percent or greater, breath test refusal, unlawful operation of an ATV and operating an ATV without a helmet following an investigation into a disturbance on June 6. Waleski allegedly crashed the ATV near the Oakfield Hotel and refused a roadside breath test. He was jailed without bail.

William J. Bick, 26, of Ellicott Street, Batavia, is charged with: operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of .08 percent or greater; DWI; moving from a lane unsafely; and failing to keep right, following an investigation into a motor-vehicle accident on Dodgeson Road in Darien.

The following people were arrested by the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office during the Tim McGraw concert at Darien Lake Performing Arts Center on Thursday:

Reannon M. Rohring, 32 of Olcott, is charged with trespass after allegedly refusing to leave the concert venue after being told to leave numerous times. Rohring was arraigned in Darien Court and jailed in lieu of $300 bail.

Angela E. Wiechett, 20 of Wheelock Street, Buffalo, is charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and three counts of harassment, 2nd, after allegedly striking another patron, two deputies and then resisting arrest. Wiechett was arraigned in Darien Court and jailed in lieu of $200 bail.

Elizabeth J. Warren, 19 of Howe Terrace, Wellsville, is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana after allegedly being found in possession of marijuana.

Jason M. Kopatz, 19 of Schang Road, East Aurora, is charged with trespass after allegedly reentering the concert venue after being ejected and told not to return.

Brandon M. Burgess, 25 of South Swan Street, Batavia, is charged with disorderly conduct after allegedly fighting with concert security personnel.

Two teens were arrested after they allegedly went through vehicles in the T.F. Brown's parking lot and stole items including change. A 17-year-old male from Batavia is charged with petit larceny and conspiracy, 6th. A 16-year-old male from Oakfield is charged with petit larceny, obstruction of governmental administration and conspiracy, 6th. The 16-year-old male is accused of leading Batavia Police on a bicycle pursuit and a brief foot pursuit after being advised that he was under arrest and refusing to adhere to verbal commands. Both subjects were put in the Genesee County Jail on $1,000 bail.

Kishonti D. Williams, 23, of Rochester, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, 7th, and criminally using drug paraphernalia, 2nd. Williams was allegedly found to be in possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia during an investigation into an unrelated incident on Pearl Street in Batavia.

Frank L. Morrison, 33, of South Byron Road, Batavia, is charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, 3rd, and obstructed view following a traffic stop by officer Mitchell Cowen on Clinton Street in Batavia. Morrison was allegedly driving on a revoked non-driver ID with other active suspensions. He was held on bail in the Genesee County Jail.

Timothy A. Banks, 24, of Columbia Avenue, Batavia, is charged with an open container. Banks was allegedly found in possession of an open container of alcohol on Summit Street. An hour later, Banks was arrested again for allegedly having an open container on Columbia Avenue. He was released on his own recognizance.

Cynthia Abounader, 64, of Knapp Road, Akron, is charged with petit larceny. Abounader allegedly stole $318 worth of grocery items from Tops Market in Batavia.

James E. Wroten, 48, of Olyn Avenue, Batavia, is charged with criminal contempt, 2nd, and criminal mischief, 4th, following an alleged domestic incident.

Frederick TWA Parker, 29, of Caribou Trail Ridgeway, Ontario, Canada, is charged with criminal trespass, 3rd, after allegedly reentering the concert venue after being ejected. Parker was arraigned in Darien Court and jailed in lieu of $750 bail.

Name Redacted, 17, of Route 26, West Leyden, is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana after allegedly being found in possession of marijuana.

Broc O. Breen, 18, of Route 26, West Leyden, is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana after allegedly being found in possession of marijuana.

Joshua R. Dietz, 20, of Beach Ridge, North Tonawanda, is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana after allegedly being found in possession of marijuana.

Matthew R. Quinn, 18, of Canal Road, Oneida, is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana after allegedly being found in possession of marijuana.

Zachary J. Walkowski, 20, of Rogers Drive, Cheektowaga, is charged with harassment, 2nd, after allegedly striking another subject in the face.

Jason R. Fearnall, 33, of Knapp Road, Akron, is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana after allegedly being found in possession of marijuana.

A Rochester man pled not guilty during his arraignment in Genesee County Court today.

Victor J. Grimes, 25, of Rochester, was indicted by the Grand Jury for burglary in the second degree, a Class C violent felony.

Grimes allegedly entered a dwelling on Cockram Road in the Town of Byron with the intent to commit a crime on May 28, 2013.

His attorney Lisa Kroemer requested that he be released under supervision instead of being held on bail.

District Attorney Lawrence Friedman objected to Kroemer's request.

"Grimes' criminal record is long for his young age," Friedman said. "He has criminal contempt charges, false impersonation charges and he has a prior felony conviction. He also failed to appear in court five times."

Kroemer stated the felony conviction was incorrect and Grimes had no recollection of serving a year in jail for the conviction.

Judge Robert C. Noonan called for a recess to confirm the felony conviction with Monroe County Court.

Court officials did confirm Grimes was convicted of first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a Class E felony, in August 2012. However, the Monroe County Court documents were incorrect and he was sentenced to four weekends in jail instead of one year.

Due to the prior felony conviction, Judge Noonan stated he would have to modify the bail status.

Kroemer asked Judge Noonan to set a reasonable bail because Grimes works full time in Rochester and supports his children. 

Friedman stated Grimes faces an indeterminate sentence of up to 15 years in state prison and requested bail be set according to the seriousness of the crime.

Judge Noonan ordered Grimes to be held on $7,500 bail. Oral arguments are set for Oct. 1.

Robert B. Hansen III, 52, of Colby Road, Darien, is charged with grand larceny, 3rd. Hansen is accused of making debit card purchases and cash withdrawals totaling $17,753 drawn on his mother's checking account.The purchases and cash withdrawals were made in 2013 between February and November. The alleged purchases were not made for the benefit of his mother who is living in a Medina nursing home.

Matthew M. Maniace, 32, of Fargo Road, East Bethany, is charged with: aggravated DWI with a child in the vehicle; DWAI drugs; criminal contempt, 1st; criminal possession of a controlled substance, 7th; harassment, 2nd; endangering the welfare of a child; and unlawful imprisonment. The charges result from an investigation into an alleged domestic incident by Batavia Police. Maniace is accused of driving a motor vehicle in the City of Batavia while under the influence of drugs with a 5-year-old child in the vehicle. He was put in Genesee County Jail on $20,000 bail.

Richard G. Hafford, 37, of Maple Street, Batavia, is charged with harassment, 2nd, following a reported physical altercation that happened on Maple Street. Hafford was put in Genesee County Jail on $1,000 bail.

Bobby L. Mobley, 30, of Hutchins Street, Batavia, is charged with criminal possession of a weapon, 3rd, and menacing, 2nd, following an alleged disturbance that occurred on Hutchins Street on July 10. 

Kristine M. Smart, 39, of Dellinger Avenue, Batavia, is charged with petit larceny. Smart allegedly stole $135 worth of merchandise from Kohl's Department Store in Batavia.

Steven N. Zink, 24, of Tinkham Road, Darien, is charged with aggravated DWI with a BAC of .18 percent or greater, DWI, resisting arrest, failing to yield to an emergency vehicle and operating an unregistered ATV. Zink is accused of operating an unregistered ATV while in an intoxicated condition. When Deputy Joseph Corona attempted to pull him over for a traffic stop on Warner Road in Darien, he allegedly fled. After a foot pursuit, he was taken into custody and put in the Genesee County Jail on $1,500 bail.

Martin E. Slaymaker, 41, of Bethany Center Road, Bethany, is charged with unlawfully dealing with a child, 2nd. Slaymaker allegedly tattooed a child under the age of 18 years old. 

Three subjects from Ontario, Canada are charged with trespassing. Ryan N. Purcell, 19, of Baden, Jesse M. Fitzsimmons, 18, of Waterloo, and Spencer R. Story, 22, of Ajax, are accused of trespassing inside of Darien Lake Theme Park after hours early this morning.

Bergen resident Shane P. Buyck, 26, was sentenced today by Judge Robert C. Noonan to three-and-a-half years to seven years in state prison. Buyck pled guilty to third-degree burglary earlier this month. He is a second felony offender.

Buyck burglarized a residence on North Road in Bergen on May 25. After the homeowner found Buyck in the house, he fled on foot leaving his car in the driveway. Deputies located Buyck lying in thick brush in a wooded area near the house.

The homeowner filed an order of protection against him.

A parent who lives in an apartment on Colony Run in Alexander called dispatch to complain that their adolescent child got a tattoo from someone in Bethany without permission. A Sheriff's deputy is responding.

Deputies have responded to Walmart to look for a shoplifting suspect who drives a black hatchback but may be hiding in the woods nearby the store.

The subject was reportedly trying to steal an air conditioner, and has been attempting the same heist several times this week, according to a dispatcher.

Ronald T. Jackson is indicted for the crime of assault in the second degree, a Class D violent felony. It is alleged that on Jan. 3, having been charged with or conivcted of a crime, and while confined in a correctional facility -- the Genesee County Jail -- the defendant intended to cause physical injury to another person and did cause such injury to the person.

Victor J. Grimes is indicted for the crime of burglary in the second degree, a Class C violent felony. It is alleged that on May 28, 2013, Grimes knowingly entered or remained unlawfully inside a dwelling on Cockram Road in the Town of Byron with the intent to commit a crime.

Dmarcus A. Tallchief is indicted for the crime of driving while intoxicated, as a Class E Felony. It is alleged that on Jan. 23 in the Town of Pembroke Tallchief drove a 2013 Toyota on the Thruway while in an intoxicated condition. In count two, Tallchief is indicted for the crime of aggravated driving while intoxicated, per se, as a Class E felony, for allegedly having a BAC of .18 or more at the time of the incident.

A car vs. pedestrian accident is reported at Jackson and Ellicott streets in the City of Batavia. The suspect vehicle (not described) left the scene. The pedestrian who was struck is said to be limping in front of the Kwik Fill / Red Apple gas station and convenience store on the corner.

UPDATE 5:56 p.m.: Police say the suspect vehicle is a gold Ford Taurus that went southbound on Ellicott Street (Route 63).

A Pembroke woman who was reportedly behind the wheel of a 1997 Chevrolet Geo in February when it crossed Route 20 at Molasses Hill Road, Bethany, and was struck by a semi-truck has been indicted by a grand jury on a count of manslaughter in the second degree.

Hannah E. Dibble, 22, appeared in Genesee County Court today to be charged under the 11-count indictment, where she pled not guilty and was released under supervision of Genesee Justice.

Her friend, Alyson D. Krzanak, 18, of Corfu, died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash. Suffering serious physical injuries in the collision Feb. 21 were James Scherer, 21, Brandon Danser, 22, and Felecia J. Fazzio, 20.

Dibble was also indicted on counts of vehicular manslaughter in the second degree, vehicular assault in the first degree, three counts of assault in the second degree, three counts of vehicular assault in the second degree, and two counts of DWI.

Crystal M. Bouter, 26, of Oak Orchard Road, Elba, is charged with two counts of giving or selling alcohol to a minor. Bouter allegedly supplied alcoholic beverages to minors.

Lee C. Clark, 35, of Lewiston Road, Oakfield, is charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, DWI, refusal to take a breath test, failure to keep right, moving from a lane unsafely, speeding and driving while talking on a cellphone. Clark was pulled over on Lockport Road in Oakfield by Deputy James Diehl. He was jailed on $1,000 bail.

Douglas J. Ostrander, 57, of North Bergen Road, Bergen, is charged with driving with a BAC of .08 percent or greater, DWI, drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle, speeding and driving with license restrictions. Ostrander was pulled over on Buffalo Road in Bergen for traffic violations when Deputy Joseph Corona allegedly ound him to be in an intoxicated condition.

Shannon K. Kestler, 41, of Jefferson Street, Attica, is charged with petit larceny. Kestler is accused of shoplifting from Kohl's in Batavia.

Joseph A. Sunday II, 19, of South Lyndonville Road, Lyndonville, is charged with petit larceny. Sunday allegedly stole items from Kmart in Batavia.

Benishio C. Coger, 19, of Buffalo, is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. State police pulled over the car Coger was riding in for alleged tinted windows in Pembroke. An investigation revealed he allegedly possessed a cigar containing approximately one gram of marijuana.

A small group of juveniles got into a ruckus this evening at Austin Park during the weekly Care-A-Van Ministries cookout event and Batavia PD was called to respond, said Sgt. Chris Camp.

Camp said normally you want parents who are present to get involved and deal with their children, but tonight the parents got too involved. They started yelling at each other.

Four city units and three county units responded to the call as a result.

Camp said it's unfortunate that 95 to 98 percent of the people who attend the Care-A-Van event never cause a problem, but Thursday night calls to Austin Park are becoming routine, he said.
