Take in a FREE program at Genesee Park & Forest and celebrate the 100 years of bird conservation with Woodcarving and Waterfowl on Saturday, Sept. 24th, from 1:30 to 2:45 p.m.! Learn about woodcarving from an award-winning decoy carver as he demonstrates and shares his techniques that transform wood into life-like waterfowl. Find out how people across the nation have helped conserve habitat for migrating birds for the past 100 years, and how you can help too! Watch an artist at work and hear hunting stories of the outdoors — almost all of them are true! Recommended for ages 5 and up.
