Since 2010, Oakfield-Alabama High School has been hosing the Dash in the Dark, a multi-school event for Cross Country teams.
It's the official kickoff to the Cross Country season.
There were 64 schools participating this year, with more than 1,200 runners.
This is O-A's biggest fundraiser to support cross country along with indoor and outdoor track and field.
