MARY LOU HOUSEHOLDER

MARY LOU HOUSEHOLDER, age 80, of Batavia, died peacefully on Thursday evening, August 23, 2018 at Unity Hospital. Mary was born in Mansfield, OH, on May 18, 1938 the daughter of the late Ralph and Effie (McNeely) Barrett, also preceded in death by siblings, Norman McNeely, William "Bunk" Barrett, Ralph "Jack" Barrett, Robert Barrett and Carole Ann Haag.  

Mary was raised in Ohio where she lived and worked for a good part of her life. She was very musically inclined, former majorette in High School, enjoyed sketching, water color paintings, quilting, sewing and a former Garden Club Member. Mary moved to Genesee County about 20 years ago where she has enjoyed dinner out with friends, but most importantly for her family as she loved being "Grandma Moo Moo" to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mary is survived by her loving children, Jill (Paul Adair) Pickard of E. Bethany, Joe Householder of Batavia and Jim Householder of Ohio; cherished grandchildren, Lisa (John) Zalacca, Scot (Katelin) Pickard and Sara (Josh Adair) Pickard; adoring great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Jason, Emma, Felicity, Evan and Ella; sister, Beverly (Charles) Bauer of Ohio; In-laws, Daryl Haag of SC, Pat Barrett of OK and Joan Barrett of Ohio along with being "sweet" Aunt Moo Moo to her many nieces and nephews.

Her family will be present 11am Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Mansfield Memorial Park for a Graveside Service before being laid to rest in the family plot. Please join the family 1pm at the Galion VFW, 229 Market Street Galion, OH for a luncheon following services.   

Memorials in her memory are suggested to Lakeside Dialysis 587 East Main St. Batavia, NY 14020 or a Dialysis Facility near you.
