The annual Sun In Pisces Psychic Fair and Holistic Expo will take place Sept. 8 and 9 at the Quality Inn & Suites, located at 8250 Park Road, Batavia. Free lectures everyday with $7 admission. All-Star readers and vendors will be there on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Due to attend from all over and offering their rare talents are: Charlene Schine Barbara Konish Kris Faso Art Keicher Antonio Torres Ginny Deb Monteleone Karen Kurchyne Peggy Rogers Kitty Osborne Joy Steinhorst Davis Sarina Vicki Snyder Young Michelle Hall Jim Park Plus, Darryl and Ginny Byers will be offering Reiki. Jim Moomaw will have his aura camera available, along with metaphysical merchandise. Kathryn Faso will offer Young Living Oils. Sticks and Stones will have a whole wall of gems and minerals, along with Billee’s astrological reports. Joe and Marion Davis will be there with everything metaphysical. Some additions this year include: Gretchen Napier, with the biggest collection of natural teas you have ever seen; Beth, with Hot Stone Treatments Jim and Danessa Wilson, with metaphysical merchandise and great art work. It’s going to be AWESOME!

Come to the 14th annual World Wide Christmas Fair at the First Presbyterian Church on Saturday, November 12th, 10am-3pm. Join the hundreds of people in our community who have attended this fair over the past 13 years and see why supporting fair trade businesses and local and regional not-for-profit organizations has such a positive influence in our community and the world. Our fair is unique in that all of our vendors have one thing in common – they help people in need here in Batavia, in western NY and around the world through their sales. Shop with purpose! You will find high-quality gifts for everyone on your holiday gift list. Lunch, baked goods and coffee will be available for purchase. This event is free and is not a fund-raising event for the church. Our building is handicapped accessible. Open House at Grandma’s Luv’n Care in Batavia

There will be an Open House from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 2, at Grandma’s Luv’n Care Childcare and Development Center in Batavia. The nonprofit facility is located at 5079 Clinton Street Road. You are invited to attend and learn more about the childcare center, meet the teachers, staff and take a tour. Infants age 6 weeks and children up to school age are now being enrolled. Grandma’s Luv’n Care is fully licensed and staffed by caregivers trained in first aid/CPR and MAT (Medication Administration Training). The center offers quality full-time and part-time care, as well as an after-school program. It has seven rooms to accommodate the needs of children, including age-appropriate curriculum, activities and learning through play. There’s a staffed kitchen to provide breakfast, lunch and snacks. The building is equipped with secuity cameras and key fob entrances. Normal hours of operation are 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. For more information, call 815-4308.
