The decision on creating a new water district for public water in Bethany is really up to residents of the proposed district, Eric Wies told about 300 people at a meeting at Bethany Town Hall on Monday evening.
Wies is a senior associate with Clark Patterson, the consultant on the
Kenneth R. Geedy, age 74, passed away at Englewood Hospital in Florida on August 8th 2014. He was born in Castile PA. Mr. Geedy resided in Castile NY on Silver Lake and spent winters at his Florida home in Englewood. Mr. Geedy worked in the carpet installation business his entire adult life. He was an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife Karen M. Geedy and children, Kenneth (Terry) Geedy, of Wilmington NC, Wade (Connie) Geedy, of East Bethany NY, Bryan (Amy) Geedy of Castile NY, Scherina (Todd) Beam of Shippensburg PA, step children, Jeffrey (Amy) Kramarz, of Silver Lake NY and Kenneth (Becky) Kramarz of Stafford NY and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Wyoming Cemetery in Wyoming NY at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cancer Society.
