CHARLOTTE WILLIAMS CONABLE, 83, July 19, 2013 in Sarasota, FL after a long battle with cancer. Born in Buffalo, daughter of the late Garnet and Charlotte (Seitz) Williams. Graduate of Lafayette High School, Cornell University and George Washington University. Sarasota resident since 2003 with her husband, the late Barber B. Conable, Jr., former WNY Congressman and World Bank President 1986- 1991. Survived by her four children, Anne (Peter Umbras) of Bennington, NY; Jane (Bernard) Schmieder of East Bethany, NY; Emily of White Hall, MD; and Sam of Sarasota, FL; 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Law and Order: Multi-agency, months long investigation yields three suspects in mobile device fraud

Jerome E. Ware, 59, of New Rochelle, is charged with two counts of identity theft 1st and grand larceny third. Joel A. Rojas Perallon, 20, and Raul DeLeon DeLeon, 30, both of New York City, were charged with identity theft 1st, grand larceny 3rd, and scheme to defraud 1st. Ware's arrest came after a report on April 8, 2022, in Wyoming County, of a person misrepresenting himself as a Verizon Wireless employee.
