Douglas M. Ashworth, 48, of Vine Street, Batavia, is charged with menacing. Ashworth is accused of pointing a rifle at two youths on Oct. 9 on Vine Street in Batavia and placing the individuals in reasonable fear of injury or death. He was arrested on Feb. 28 and issued
CHARLOTTE WILLIAMS CONABLE, 83, July 19, 2013 in Sarasota, FL after a long battle with cancer. Born in Buffalo, daughter of the late Garnet and Charlotte (Seitz) Williams. Graduate of Lafayette High School, Cornell University and George Washington University. Sarasota resident since 2003 with her husband, the late Barber B. Conable, Jr., former WNY Congressman and World Bank President 1986- 1991. Survived by her four children, Anne (Peter Umbras) of Bennington, NY; Jane (Bernard) Schmieder of East Bethany, NY; Emily of White Hall, MD; and Sam of Sarasota, FL; 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
