Assemblyman Hawley holds outreach meeting at Old Courthouse, Batavia

Assemblyman Steve Hawley (R, I, C – Batavia) is hosting his regular monthly outreach meeting for Genesee County residents in Batavia on Thursday.

“The meeting will present the people of Western New York with a chance to become directly involved in improving the quality of life in our area by sharing their thoughts, concerns and ideas,” Hawley said. “I strongly encourage all local citizens to attend this event.”

It will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. April 14 in the Old Courthouse in the Legislative Conference Room, located at 7 Main St.

John and Debbie Konieczny have been frequent fliers in the downtown medical community, getting their dental, podiatry and chiropractic needs met there for the last 20 years. 

With physical challenges — he has ulcers on the bottom of his 68-year-old feet, and she has had two knee replacements, and both use canes to walk — they are now biding their time that adjacent handicap parking will be restored next to their doctors’ offices.
