The Batavian asked Genesee County and City of Batavia officials about the process required for Seneca Power Partners' request to draw 715,600 gallons of water per day from the city/county water system. More specifically, The Batavian wanted to know if there would have to be public hearings about this request
Assemblyman Steve Hawley (R, I, C – Batavia) is hosting his regular monthly outreach meeting for Genesee County residents in Batavia on Thursday.
“The meeting will present the people of Western New York with a chance to become directly involved in improving the quality of life in our area by sharing their thoughts, concerns and ideas,” Hawley said. “I strongly encourage all local citizens to attend this event.”
It will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. April 14 in the Old Courthouse in the Legislative Conference Room, located at 7 Main St.
