JAMES A. WILLIAMS SR.

Jim was a veteran of the US Army where he served in Germany during WWII, he received a Citation from Queen Juliana of the Netherlands for his service to the people of Holland during the great Floods of 1953. He worked for many years for National School Bus in Rochester and was a "die hard" Yankees fan. He will be remembered by his Hull Park neighborhood for the flag pole erected and flowers planted after September 11 that still stands today.
Surviving is his loving wife of 37 years, Kathryn (Yandow) Williams of Batavia; children, James A. (Cindy) Williams Jr. of FL, Debra (Gary) Barnes, Susan Wolter, Donald (Jennifer) Williams, Kim, Karen & Scott Williams all of Batavia and Robert Williams; brother, Larry Williams of Batavia; sisters-in-law, Theresa Williams of Attica and Florence Williams of Batavia; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews.
There is no prior visitation and funeral services will be held privately by the family. Memorials in his memory are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
