Carol A. Kulikowski, (nee Petters), 84, of Batavia passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Carol was born on January 9, 1941 in Buffalo, NY.  She graduated from Bishop O’Hern High School in 1959, and Catherine McAully School of Practical Nursing at St. Jerome, Batavia, in 1960.

She married Arthur Kulikowski on August 25, 1962 at St. Joseph’s Church in Buffalo. Together they raised their 6 children.

Carol worked as an LPN at St. Jerome Hospital early in her career.  She returned to the workforce in 1985 after raising her children.  Carol retired in 2003 from the Genesee County Nursing Home after 18 years of service as an Adult Daycare Medical/Activities Aide.

She was a former Assistant Girl Scout Leader, a past member of the Polish Falconettes Nest 493, and a member of Sacred Heart/Ascension Roman Catholic Church and their Rosary Society for many years.

Her fondest memories were the many family get-togethers with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  Her 6 children were her life, heart and soul.  Her 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren were her precious treasures. “Gramma Carol” was known for her hugs, genuine love, kindness, empathy, and giving spirit. She is survived by her husband Arthur Kulikowski, of 62 years; her sons Mark Kulikowski of Batavia, James Kulikowski of Tennessee, Timothy (Jennifer) Kulikowski of Bergen, and Frank (Krista) Kulikowski of Batavia; and her daughters Debra Levins (John Deleo) of Batavia, and Pam (William) Reed of Byron.

She is also survived by her grandchildren Melissa Levins, Jessica Levins, Miranda (Chad) Dickinson, Justine Reed, Spencer Kulikowski (Fiancee’ Chelsea Mountain), Melanie Kulikowski, Aiden Kulikowski, Alec Kulikowski, Alexa Kulikowski, Mila Kulikowski and Callan Kulikowski; and her great-grandchildren Brantley and Madison Dickinson.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Florence (nee Cavanaugh) Petters, and sisters Dorothy Eichler and Lois Maving.
