Paul Konieczny

Batavia ~ Paul Konieczny, age 61, of Harvester Avenue, passed away at home on Thursday (March 27, 2025) surrounded by his loving family.

     He was born March 23, 1964 in Batavia, a son of the late Aloysius and Marietta Bailey Konieczny.

    Paul was a well-known meat cutter in the Batavia area, starting at Wandryk’s Market, Konieczny Meats, Jubilee and finally BJ’s.  He will be remembered for his love of the Beatles, anything Christmas…he had a tree in virtually every room of his house… and gardening.  He also enjoyed his fish aquarium and woodworking, making many oak products.

     He will be sadly missed by his children, Alex Comstock, Andrew (Tiffany) Konieczny, Quintin Konieczny and Kayla (Ryan) Caltagirone; granddaughter, Tori Caltagirone; siblings, Dave (Ginny) Pixley, Kris (Reed) Palmer, John (Debbie) Konieczny and Lynette Silverling; sisters-in-law, Debbie Konieczny and Luanne Konieczny, along with many nieces, nephews and close friends, Darleen Weber and Kim Porter.

     Paul was predeceased by his brothers, Butch and George and his son-in-law, Jake Comstock.

     Family and friends may call on Wednesday, April 2 from 11 AM ~ 1 PM at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake St. Rd., LeRoy, where his funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery with a Celebration of Paul’s Life to follow at the Polish Falcons, 123 S. Swan St., Batavia.

     In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Paul’s family either sent to the home address of 144 Harvester Ave., Batavia, NY 14020 or c/o the funeral home.
