Helen T. Lennon (Strzelecki), 98 of Batavia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday (March 5, 2025) at United Memorial Medical Center.

She was born May 7, 1926 in Batavia, daughter of the late Vincent and Pauline Brzeczkowski Strzelecki.  She was married to the late Clair Lennon for 49 years.

Helen enjoyed travel, spending 30 years in Hawaii during the wintertime with Clair.  She also enjoyed traveling throughout Europe and visiting her daughters in Florida and New York City. She was an avid reader and skilled knitter, who was known for her adorable children’s sweaters.

Survivors include her daughters, Diane Lennon (Michael Swartz) of Florida and Debra Lennon (Alan Heblack) of New York City. Grandson David (Karen) Strollo. Great-grandson Nicolas. Step-grandchildren, Jennifer Swartz Morris and Rachel Swartz Hendrickson. Step-great grandchildren, James Morris, Joseph Morris and Layla Hendrickson. Brother, Richard Strzelecki. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Rose Kolo, Raymond Strzelecki and Edward Zaleski.

There will be no prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to share in her Mass of Christian Burial on Monday (March 10th), 9:30am at Ascension Parish (Sacred Heart), South Swan Street, Batavia. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery at a later date.
