Donald R. Pfalzer, 91, of Darien Center, NY, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at his residence.
He was born on April 5, 1933 in Batavia, NY, a son of the late Ralph and Grace Rodgers Pfalzer.
Mr. Pfalzer worked for many years at Blew Equipment in Akron, NY before opening his own business “Pfalzer’s Garage” in 1982 and retiring in 2016 at the age of 83.
He is predeceased by his wife Marilyn (Zetterberg) Pfalzer, brothers James (late Theresa) Pfalzer, John Pfalzer, Thomas (late Janet) Pfalzer and sister Jean (late Richard) Ewert.
Survivors include his children; Donna Hinze (Ray Penkszyk), Donald (Patricia) Pfalzer, Donyce (Bruce) Kraus, Dennis (Margaret) Pfalzer, Doneen Pfalzer and special grandson Raymond “Chopper” Pfalzer. Siblings, LaVern (Joan) Pfalzer, Eileen (Ron) Mast and sister-in-law Janet Pfalzer. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the C. B. Beach & Son Mortuary, Inc., 4 East Main Street, Corfu, NY. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
