Louise T. Panepento “Elsie”
Leroy - Elsie known by her family and friends passed away on August 14, 2024 in the care of the LeRoy Village Green Nursing Home at age 97.
Louise was predeceased by her husband Carl; parents, Peter and Susie Tucci; brother, Peter Tucci; and sister, Carmella Callari. She is survived by her sons, Peter (Jan) Panepento, Carl (Ann) Panepento; 2 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren; brother, Archie Tucci; sister, Teresa Truman; brother- in-law, Robert Callari; and many nieces and nephews.
Louise was an active member of St. Joseph’s Church, where she was also a member of the choir. She then joined Our Lady of Mercy Church in Leroy. Louise was active in the community, and volunteered at Crossroads House in Batavia as well as the Le Roy food pantry. She was also a den mother for Cub Scouts. Louise enjoyed cooking as well as crocheting. She enjoyed her trips to Florida in the winter with her husband, Carl. She also enjoyed her time playing cards with her friends.
Friends are invited to her Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday August 21, 2024 at 11 am at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, 44 Lake Street, Le Roy. Interment will be at St. Francis Cemetery in Le Roy.
