Arlene (nee Glor) Teal, beloved wife of the late Charles Teal, passed away at the Leroy Village Green on July 5, 2024. Arlene was born at home on September 12, 1938 in Alexander, NY and was the cherished daughter of the late Allen and Martha (nee Schlenker) Glor.

Arlene was a member of the Alexander Class of 1956. She was the mother of Larry (Mary) Quinn, the late James Quinn, Cynthia (Peter) Antonucci, Garry (Barbra) Quinn, Lorrie Quinn Treat and Jerry (Diane) Quinn; stepmother of Daniel (Maryann) Teal, Ronald Teal, Judith (late Clyde) Bowden, the late Michael Teal and the late Timothy Teal. Arlene is survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was the dear sister of Elam (late John) Smith and was predeceased by siblings; Marie (Norman) Smith, Violet (Irving) Colton, Doris (Robert) Besock, Leo (Evelyn) Glor; grandson Nicholas Antonucci and brother in law Gary Teal.

Arlene was a retired child caregiver and a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and baking. She loved to fish and was a lifelong Buffalo Bills fan. She had a spicy sense of humor and loved to make people laugh, especially the staff and residents at the Leroy Village Green. Her family is forever grateful to that staff for the loving and joyful care they gave to her.

There will be no prior calling hours. The family will hold a private Memorial Service at a later date. Inurnment will be at Pleasant View Cemetery in Varysburg, NY.
