Batavia - Edith Frick, 90 of Batavia passed away peacefully on Monday, June 17, 2024 at the Martin- Linsen Hospice Residence in Albion, New York.

Edith was born Friday, October 13th, 1933 in Abbau Grabau, Germany a daughter of the late Walter and Liesbeth (Raguse) Beyer.

Edith moved from Berlin, Germany on June 4th, 1959 to the United States where she met and married the love of her life Harold in 1972. She was a longtime member of City Church in Batavia. Edith enjoyed the color yellow, puzzles, flowers, tent camping, spending time outdoors, German cuisine, and spending time with her beloved cat Max as well as her grandchildren. She also loved to root for the Buffalo Bills and Sabres. Edith was a very giving person who loved to travel home to Germany and shop many different thrift stores in the area. She will forever be remembered for her caring nature and willingness to help anyone who would happen to be in need.

She is survived by daughter, Pamela (Jimi) Langmaid of Albion; and four grandchildren, Alec (Megan Palone) Frick, Summer (Wayne Fox) Tardy, James Langmaid, and Jackson Langmaid.

In death Edith is reunited with her husband, Harold and son, Daniel.

Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday July 10, 2024 from 4pm to 6pm, with funeral service to follow immediately after. Services will be held at the H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home 403 E Main St, Batavia, NY 14020.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to City Church Food Pantry, 210 E Main St #2, Batavia, New York.
