Bergen - Anne Fisher Waldruff, age 84, died June 19, 2024.

Anne was born August 22, 1939 in Ogdensburg, New York, the daughter of Floyd and Millie Fisher of Madrid, New York. Floyd and Millie were the founders of Mapleview Farms in Madrid; Anne had a happy childhood and loved her animals.

Anne was active in 4H and Scotch Presbyterian Church, and was the St. Lawrence County Dairy Queen in 1958. Anne was a hairdresser for many years, and a nurse's aide at the nursing home in LeRoy. She was also a caring, loving home health aide for others; Anne loved to help people all her life.

She is survived by her husband, William; sons, James (Diana) Waldruff of Avon and Brian (Kathleen) Waldruff of Byron; daughter, Karen Yount of Palm Harbor, Florida; granddaughter Emily, also of Avon; a sister, Marion Schontz of Lowville, New York; brother, Gerry (Trudy) Fisher of Madrid, and sister-in-law Barbara Fisher, also of Madrid. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 5, 2024 11:00 a.m. at Bergen United Methodist Church. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
