Larry Nicholas LaFarnara of Alvarado Texas passed peacefully surrounded by family on August 11,2023 after a brief illness. Larry was born January 20, 1949 in Batavia to Pasquale LaFarnara Sr. and Eva Mae Peterson.
Larry was a 1966 graduate of Batavia High School and served with the United States Air Force for 7 years.
Larry is survived by his wife of 48 years Lovana (aka Sami) LaFarnara, 4 children Dawn Michelle (Dave) Beyers, Angelisa (Jeff) McNeil, Melissa (Don) Holt, and Billie Michael (Melody) Ary, all of Texas. He is also survived by a brother Pasquale (Sharon) LaFarnara Jr. of Oakfield NY, and sisters Jolene (Larry) Sisseck of Petaluma CA, Shelly(Travis) Norvell of Petaluma CA, and Cheryl LoVerdi of Batavia NY. Larry also leaves 22 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins
In addition to his parents, Larry is predeceased by a daughter, Lovana Marcene (Marcy) Coonradt and grandchildren Heaven LaShay Coonradt, Samantha Day Ary and Aaron Coonradt
A celebration of life will be held September 3,2023 at the Clayton KayVaughan Funeral home in Alvarado, Texas.
