Edward P. Corcoran

  Edward P. Corcoran, 78, of Batavia passed away peacefully on Friday January 28, 2022 at Premier Genesee Nursing Home in Batavia. He was born in Brockport on April 21, 1943 to the late Andrew and Evelyn (Tompkins) Corcoran. In addition to his parents, Edward is predeceased by his siblings; Jim and Burt Corcoran, Janet Grasso, Mary Talbot and Linda Vallese; grandson Joshua Durham.

Ed was an amazing loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a strong Christian man who always fought hard for others and himself. He ran “Stephens Table” soup kitchen and served the community for 26 years and more than 250,000 meals. Ed volunteered several years in the jail and prison ministry including Genesee County jail and Attica prison.  He has been awarded the “Good Samaritan” awards from Steve Hawley and earned several certificates and college diplomas. His fun wit, personality and jokes will be missed. Our memories together will forever be in our thoughts and your love forever in our hearts.

He is survived by his loving wife; Beverly Corcoran; children Andrew (Eileen) Corcoran of Batavia, Tammy (Jeff) Draper of Batavia and Tina Lloyd of Batavia; 6 grandchildren Adam Fisher, Heather (Elliott) Hickman, Alan Draper, Katie Durham, Megan Draper and Stephen Durham, along with many nieces and nephews.

There will be no prior calling hours or Services.
