
Mrs. Jaszko was born May 14, 1938 in Batavia, a daughter of the late Andrew and Dorothy (Washburn) Chatt.
She was a parishioner of St. Padre Pio Parish - St. Cecilia's Church in Oakfield and sold Avon for 35 years. Nancy was a precious little soul who loved life and was loved by everyone who met her. She was a mother to many and a peacemaker for all. Mrs. Jaszko was lovingly known as Nana by all the neighborhood children.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 65 years, Joseph Jaszko of Batavia; daughters, Catherine Jaszko, and Lorie (Scott McAllister) Jaszko both of Batavia; sisters, Susan (Ron) Odessa of Batavia, Shirley Scott of Batavia, and Diane (Chuck) Lee of Lockport; brothers, Michael (Patricia) Chatt of Greensboro, North Carolina, and Andrew (Christine) Chatt of South Dakota. 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.
She is preceded in death by her son, Joseph David Jaszko.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday from 4 to 7:00 pm at Burdett & Sanford Funeral Home, 11 Maple Avenue in Oakfield. Nancy 's Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, (January 22, 2022) from St. Padre Pio Parish - St. Cecilia's Worship Site, 56 Maple Avenue in Oakfield. Burial will be in St. Cecilia's Cemetery in Oakfield. Flowers are gratefully declined.
