Dorothy was a long time member of St. James Episcopal Church in Batavia and worked for many years as a cook at John Kennedy Elementary School. She loved being outside, gardening and shopping.
She is survived by her son; James (Shirley) Taylor of Batavia; sister Betty Gillard of Stafford; grandson Jayson (Anita) Taylor of Stafford, along with several nieces and nephews.
There will be no prior calling hours. A private Funeral Service will be held for the family. Dorothy will be laid to rest in Grandview Cemetery in Batavia.
