Donald L. Smith, 71, formerly from Rochester, NY passed away on August 9, 2020 in Tampa, Florida. He was born January 2, 1949 in Batavia, NY to Mora & Carl Smith.

Don enjoyed being with family and friends, especially during family chicken barbecues and Buffalo Bills parties with friends. Throughout his adult life he enjoyed playing softball, volleyball, golf and bowling. After 34 years he was laid off from Kodak. Seeing opportunity and following his adventurous spirit he, Yvonne and Cal set off for a year long trip around the lower 48. After settling in Florida he and Yvonne continued to travel with friends and family to places like Alaska and the southwest. When not traveling, Don could often be found golfing or attending to matters at one of the mobile home parks he and Yvonne owned. He loved camping and was preparing the fifth wheel for a trip north to visit friends and family when he became ill.
A memorial will he held in the Rochester, NY area at a later date.
