
Judith was born October 22, 1937, in Batavia, a daughter of the late Stanley and Doris (Barnard) Davis.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Batavia, enjoyed playing cards, going to the Senior Center and the Genesee County Fair. Judy loved to go out to eat and made it a goal to be the first person through the door of any new restaurant or store that openend in the area.
She is the wife of Robert Alwardt, of Batavia. The two were married August 1, 1981.
Surviving along with her husband are her children, Michael (Judy) Anderson of Stafford, Paula Helms of California, Wendy (Christopher) Hilbert of Bergen, Kristine (Kevin) Brinkman of South Dakota; step children, Kenneth Alwardt of Florida, Karen Warren of Batavia, Susan (Lowell) Farnsworth of Oakfield, Sharon Wall of Batavia; brothers, Jack (Stella) Davis of Virginia, Douglas (late Ida) Davis of Pavilion, Stephen (late Mary) Davis of Warsaw; a sister, Deborah (Harold) Seelman of Forest Point; sister-in-law, Susan Davis of Churchville; brother-in-law, George Squires of Byron. 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren also survive.
Judith was predeceased by a brother, David Davis.
